Project Manager

Architecture & Design-led studio

Dubai, UAE

A Project Manager is required for a growing, design-led studio in Dubai.

JOB SUMMARY:

A Project Manager is required for a growing, design-led studio in Dubai. The team of 26 architects and designers share one aligned mission — to create beautifully crafted, meaningful buildings. The studio is six years old, has a flat hierarchy, and continues to grow organically, offering the opportunity to progress with the practice while watching it evolve.

This role is suited to entrepreneurial minds — those who enjoy building both teams and projects from the ground up.

As Project Manager, you’ll lead and coordinate project delivery from inception through to completion, overseeing programmes, budgets, risk management and stakeholder engagement.

Based in Dubai, the studio operates with a non-hierarchical, collaborative culture, focused on design quality and shared success. There’s little regard for office politics — it’s an open, supportive environment where good ideas and teamwork thrive.

This is an ideal role for a proactive, detail-driven professional with experience managing complex architecture or interiors projects, who enjoys working in a fast-paced, creative studio and being part of a team that’s shaping the next chapter of contemporary design in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of a range of projects in Dubai and the wider region, ensuring milestones, budgets, and quality targets are met.

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, risk registers, and budgets, working closely with design teams, contractors, and suppliers.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and clients, facilitating clear communication and timely decision-making.

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architecture, interiors, MEP, and specialist trades to ensure fully integrated and buildable solutions.

  • Implement and enforce project governance frameworks, including change control, quality assurance, and progress reporting.

  • Oversee procurement tracking and material approvals, ensuring alignment with project timelines and design intent.

  • Manage on-site activities through regular site visits, ensuring construction progress, quality standards, and health and safety compliance.

  • Anticipate and mitigate risks proactively, proposing solutions to avoid delays and cost overruns.

  • Support the Project Director in reporting to senior stakeholders and maintaining a client-focused approach throughout project delivery.

  • Foster a collaborative and positive culture within the project team, promoting accountability and excellence.

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience managing interior design, architectural, or construction projects, ideally within luxury residential or high-end hospitality sectors.

  • Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex project workflows.

  • Demonstrable expertise in programme and budget management, risk mitigation, and quality control.

  • Familiarity with design development, technical documentation, procurement processes, and site supervision.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging confidently with clients, consultants, and contractors.

  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and adapt to evolving project requirements.

  • Proficient with project management and design software tools.

  • Experience working with high-end finishes, bespoke joinery, and luxury materials is highly desirable.

  • Willingness to be based in Dubai and travel to project sites across the Middle East as required.
