This is an opportunity for a motivated and collaborative Senior Architect to join a highly regarded AJ100 architecture practice known for its thoughtful, practical, and generous approach to design, with a particular focus on heritage-led projects. With a team of over 100 professionals, the studio fosters an inclusive and supportive culture, placing strong emphasis on sustainability, creativity, and delivering spaces that make a positive and lasting impact.
The practice offers a dynamic environment where senior architects are encouraged to take ownership of projects while continuing to develop their leadership, technical, and design expertise. This role will involve working across a range of projects from early concept through to on-site delivery, coordinating with internal teams, consultants, and clients to ensure high-quality outcomes.
This position is well suited to a Senior Architect who is confident in both design and delivery, and who thrives in a collaborative studio environment, contributing to considered, well-executed architecture.
Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate internal teams, consultants, and contractors across all project stages.
Contribute to the delivery of projects from concept through to completion, ensuring technical, regulatory, and design excellence.
Support project leadership in decision-making, coordination, and client reporting.
Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and design documentation.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and efficient project delivery.
Maintain clear, structured, and well-managed project documentation throughout all stages.
Requirements & Experience:
ARB-registered Architect with a minimum of five years’ post-Part III (or equivalent) experience.
Strong portfolio demonstrating both design leadership and project delivery across a range of stages.
Proficiency in Revit and Adobe InDesign.
Strong understanding of construction processes, technical detailing, and relevant industry standards, including ISO.
Proven experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and wider project teams.
Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills, with a collaborative approach to working.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and confident in managing responsibility across multiple project stages.
