JOB SUMMARY:
A family office team requires an Interior Design Assistant or Part II to support the technical delivery of ultra-prime residential and hospitality projects. This assistant role focuses on assisting the design team with documentation, sample management, and schedule maintenance, ensuring accuracy and smooth workflow within the studio.

Responsibilities:
Assist in producing and updating technical drawings (plans, elevations, simple details) under the guidance of senior designers.
Maintain and update project schedules including finishes, ironmongery, sanitaryware, and lighting.
Support preparation and coordination of tender and construction packages, including controlled issue registers and mark-ups.
Manage physical and digital materials and samples libraries; catalogue, label, and track requests and approvals.
Source materials and technical data sheets to support specification documentation.
Track revisions, approvals, and maintain accurate documentation logs.
Assist with procurement tracking, sample approvals, and preparation of presentation materials.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of studio standards, including filing structures, CAD templates, title blocks, and drawing registers.
Attend site visits occasionally to assist with surveys, mock-ups, and sample reviews.
Qualifications:
1–3 years’ experience in interior design or architecture, preferably in high-end residential or hospitality sectors.
Proficiency in AutoCAD essential; familiarity with Revit, SketchUp or Rhino desirable.
Competent in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop).
Strong Excel skills and ability to manage schedules effectively.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive.
Effective communication skills and comfortable liaising with suppliers and contractors.
Enthusiastic team player with a willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.
Package:
Salary range: £32,000 – £36,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
Full-time, studio-based role with occasional site attendance.
