Curio is a specialist talent consultancy working at the intersection of architecture, design, and creative industries.

JOB SUMMARY:

Curio is a specialist talent consultancy working at the intersection of architecture, design, and creative industries. We operate differently from traditional agencies — we're team-based, not individual target-driven — with a strong focus on quality, collaboration, and care.

This role is ideal for someone who is curious, demonstrate initiative, are proactive, people-oriented, and passionate about supporting others in building meaningful careers. You’ll start by focusing on sourcing and qualifying exceptional candidates, with opportunities to evolve into client development and broader search strategy over time. Growth is encouraged, but expectations are realistic — there’s space to learn and thrive.

You might be a recruitment consultant already, or a creative professional looking to step away from hands-on design into a more communicative, people-focused role. This position requires professionalism, resilience, and curiosity, but it’s also incredibly rewarding — you’ll see the growth and success of the people you support and help shape the future of some of the industry’s most exciting teams.

Curio is run by a small, experienced team: one founder and three sourcing specialists. We’ve built deep, trusted partnerships across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East with studios, developers, consultants, and creative teams. Our client base is diverse — from global architectural practices and boutique studios to family offices and strategic design teams. We deliver on 99% of the briefs we choose to work on, and always with purpose.

We’re values-driven, human-first, and collaborative. We care about people and work hard to do right by them. We also support and partner with groups such as WIA (Women in Architecture) and are regular participants at industry events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITies:

  • Proactively source and qualify talent across architecture, urban design, interiors, and adjacent creative fields

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and industry professionals

  • Manage client expectations and communicate clearly throughout the recruitment process

  • Support the continuous improvement of our internal recruitment strategies and tools

  • Work closely with the Curio team to deliver high-quality outcomes across briefs

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a creative or people-focused field

  • Curious, collaborative mindset with a love for learning and connecting

  • Comfortable working to goals, but not driven solely by numbers

  • Enjoys being o the phone and teams

  • Independent, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • A natural team player who enjoys supporting others and asking good questions

If you're looking for a more meaningful, people-centred approach to recruitment — and a role where you can grow within a tight-knit and ambitious team — we’d love to hear from you.

We offer hybrid and remote working and are based in a beautiful office space within a private members’ club in Central London. We would also consider 4 days a week for those who do not want to work full time.

Please get in touch with your CV and a short note about why you're interested in joining Curio.
