JOB SUMMARY:

A newly established, design-led in-house studio delivering ultra-prime hospitality and luxury commercial projects is seeking an Interior Architect (Part I / Part II) to support technical design delivery and studio operations. 

This role is ideal for a newly qualified interior architect, Part I/Part II who enjoys working closely with drawings, schedules, materials, and technical coordination through stages 4-5. The position plays a key role in maintaining accuracy, organisation, and information flow across projects, allowing senior designers to focus on concept development and detailed design.  You’ll be using AutoCAD day to day, therefore enjoyment and confidence in software’s in key. 

Reporting initially to the Project Director and later to the Studio Lead (architect), the role involves hands-on support with documentation, materials management, and studio infrastructure, offering clear opportunities to grow technical expertise within a luxury design environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and update drawings  in AutoCAD, including plans, elevations, and simple technical details under guidance from senior team members 

  • Maintain and update project schedules, including finishes, ironmongery, sanitaryware, lighting, FF&E, and procurement trackers 

  • Assist in the preparation of tender and construction packages, including mark-ups, drawing registers, and controlled issue documentation 

  • Manage physical and digital materials, samples, and FF&E libraries; ensure accurate cataloguing, labelling, and record keeping 

  • Request, chase, and organise material samples from suppliers; assemble boards for internal and client reviews 

  • Source materials and gather technical data sheets to support specification documentation 

  • Track drawing revisions, approvals, RFIs, and ensure logs and registers remain current and accurate 

  • Support procurement tracking, sample approvals, and presentation materials 

  • Assist in creating design presentations aligned with studio standards and branding 

  • Help establish and maintain studio infrastructure, including filing structures, libraries, naming conventions, and templates 

  • Support the creation of standard studio documentation, including title blocks, CAD layers, lineweights, drawing registers, FF&E schedules, procurement trackers, and forms 

  • Attend site visits occasionally to assist with surveys, mock-ups, and sample reviews 

Requirements & eXPERIENCE:

  • Part I/II qualified or Interior Architect trained - 1-3 years’ experience in interior architecture or architectural practice, ideally within high-end residential or hospitality projects 

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or Rhino is desirable 

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite 

  • Good Excel skills and confidence managing schedules and trackers 

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and methodical in handling documentation and samples 

  • Comfortable liaising with suppliers, consultants, and contractors 

  • Proactive, low-ego team player who thrives in a small, fast-paced studio environment 

  • Eager to develop technical skills under senior mentorship 

  • studio standards, CAD templates, and technical documentation workflows 

    Applicants should be prepared to present examples of, production drawings and technical details in autoCAD and documentation demonstrating coordination and technical understanding. 

    This is a full-time (5 days a week) studio-based role with occasional site attendance. You gain experience in a small team, be hands on with lots of opportunity to work on prestigious, high-end hospitality projects in the UK and internationally.
