JOB SUMMARY:

A leading UK architecture practice is seeking a Managing Director to oversee a team of more than 100 architects and designers. The studio works across multiple sectors with projects throughout the EMEA region.

This is a senior leadership role, focused on business, operational, commercial, and business development functions. The Managing Director will lead the office, serve as the public and internal figurehead, and drive the continued success and growth of the studio.

This opportunity will suit an experienced leader ready to step away from project delivery to focus on business and studio management at the highest level.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a large team of architects and designers

  • Oversee monthly P&L and report directly to the board

  • Shape and communicate the organization’s priorities, goals, and areas for improvement

  • Represent the practice internally and externally as the face of the studio

Qualifications:

  • ARB/RIBA-qualified architect

  • Proven experience managing a studio, sector, or business unit

  • Strong knowledge and networks across the EMEA region

  • Demonstrable leadership, communication, and commercial acumen
